THE SEVEN ECUMENICAL COUNCILS OF THE CHURCH

Historically, the Church has turned to councils to set forth what constitutes orthodox doctrine and faith. The church has held Ecumenical (i.e. world wide) Councils which have produced decrees which were binding on all the churches. The first council of the Church was held by the Apostles in Jerusalem during the first century is recorded in the Book of Acts 6:1-7. We will discuss the Seven Ecumenical Councils, its impact on the traditions, doctrine of the Church and our faith.

Begins September 13th
Mornings 10:30-11:30 AM
Evenings 6:30-7:30 PM
